Garfield Gregory Scarlett — known internationally as Krazy Bonez — was born in 1977 in the Maybole District of St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. At age three, two sticks became his first drumsticks, his first microphone.
Growing up as the eldest of three boys, he absorbed the raw sound culture of rural Jamaica — street dances, sound clashes, and community gatherings where music wasn't entertainment. It was survival.
From Montego Bay to Corville Gardens, then to the United States and finally Brampton, Ontario — he carried Jamaica's heartbeat with him and planted it on a global stage.
His artistry draws from the consciousness of Peter Tosh, the spirituality of Garnet Silk, the activism of Lucky Dube, and the raw power of Burning Spear and Bob Marley. Not imitation — inheritance.
